Scattering Ashes At Sea

At Ashes On The Bay we offer private memorial services for scattering ashes on San Francisco Bay.  We can accommodate small groups of family and friends up to 6 guests total.  Our caring staff is here to support you every step of the way.  

We understand that cost is an important consideration when choosing ash scattering services. That's why we offer transparent pricing and affordable options  for both Accompanied and Unaccompanied services for scattering ashes at sea. (See below).

We offer a peaceful and respectful way to scatter ashes at sea. Set  against the breathtaking backdrop of the San Francisco Bay, our services  are designed for those wishing to bid their loved ones a meaningful and  tranquil farewell. Whether you desire a simple ash scattering ceremony  on the water or a more personalized memorial we will help to guide you through each step with compassion.  

• 1 1/2 hr. Charter aboard Kindred Spirits our 36 ft. Islander Sailing Yacht.
• The ash scattering services take place on San Francisco Bay near the Golden Gate Bridge or a nearby place of your choosing within the Bay.
• Includes experienced USCG licensed Captain and Crew.
• Up to 6 family members and friends.
• Complimentary soft drinks & bottled water.
• Does not include Ash Scattering Permit.

 Accompanied Service Cost:    $595.00  

On occasion family members are not able to attend the ash scattering service and request that we honor their loved with a dignified memorial service and our staff will perform the ash scattering service on their behalf.  Unaccompanied ash scattering services involve shipping your loved ones ashes to us.  The unaccompanied ash scatterings are typically performed within two weeks of receipt.   We we will notify you by phone on the day we go out on the water and send you a certificate showing the coordinates of the location where the service was performed.   See "Mailing Ashes" for more information.
